The following items were selected from synopses of Edmonds police reports.

Feb. 29

Narcotics. 23500 block 78th Ave. W. A juvenile was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after the young person’s mother discovered a water pipe.

DUI. 9100 block 218th Street SW. Officers responded to a report of a motorist falling asleep in a vehicle in the middle of the road at about 3:30 a.m. The driver was arrested.

Burglary. 22000 block 76th Ave. W. Suspects were arrested after an apparent burglary at an office building. Evidence of attempted arson and vandalism was found. One of the suspects defecated in the building.

Malicious mischief. 9400 244th Street SW. A parked vehicle was damaged by unknown suspects.

Feb. 28

Liquor. 22900 block Highway 99. A response to a call to assist the Liquor Control Board led to the arrest of a youth on a warrant and for being a minor in possession of alcohol.

Feb. 27

Theft. 21700 block 95th Ave. W. A vehicle was tampered with while locked and parked in the owner’s driveway. No information on suspects was reported.
