Here are selected reports from Shoreline and Lake Forest Park police.

Feb. 13

Assault. 2700 block 195th St. NE. A man fired a shotgun into a residence, attempting to kill the occupants. He forced his way inside the house and shot a female in the arm.

Larceny. 19800 block 25th Ave. NE. A man reported his stereo was taken by an unknown suspect.

Vandalism. 16100 block Greenwood Ave. A woman reported someone spray painted the side of her car with a derogatory statement. From the overspray on the side of the vehicle, it was apparent that someone made a stencil to use while spray painting.

Larceny. 16500 block Meridian Ave. N. Someone reported a bicycle was stolen from their front yard.

Residential burglary. 1600 block 193rd St. SW. A man reported someone entered his home through a sliding glass door and took several items.

Vandalism. 180 block Linden Ave. N. A man reported the window of his car was broken.

Vehicle prowl. 19900 block 2nd Ave. NE. Someone reported a suspect entered their vehicle and went through their belongings. Nothing was taken and no damage incurred.

Vandalism. 14500 block Meridian Ave. N. someone reported two bricks were thrown through the window of their car.

Feb. 14

Stolen property. 3200 block 145th St. NE. Two subjects were arrested after being stopped in a confirmed stolen vehicle.

Residential alarm. 16500 block 41st Ave. NE. Officers responded to an audible alarm. The exterior checked secure.

Malicious mischief. 18900 block 45th Place NE. A man reported two unknown males attempted to steal his vehicle and damaged the ignition.

Malicious mischief. 14800 block 37th Ave. NE. A man reported someone broke the windshield to his sister’s car.

Vandalism. 18000 block 15th Ave. NE. An employee at a grocery store reported eggs were thrown at the building overnight.

Residential burglary. 16200 block 6th Ave. NE. A residential burglary was reported. The suspect took CDs.

Larceny. 2100 block 150th St. A woman reported her mail was stolen. She became aware of the mail theft when she saw a white sedan driving away from her mailbox.

Larceny. 18300 block Aurora Ave. N. An employee at a grocery store reported someone was shoplifting two cans of beer by hiding them in their jacket.

Feb. 15

Vehicle impounded. 15700 block Bothell Way NE. A car was impounded after being abandoned in the roadway in the active transit lane.

Traffic stop. 5700 block Bothell Way NE. A vehicle was stopped for having no rear bumper or mud flaps.

Drugs. 80 block 1st Ave. NE. A traffic stop resulted in a man being arrested for cocaine and marijuana that were found in his vehicle.

Larceny. 18300 block Wallingford Ave. A man reported a female took his mail out of his mailbox and walked away.

Auto theft. 15300 block 15th Ave. NE. A woman reported her car was stolen while parked near her apartment.

Auto theft. 17400 block Ashworth Ave. A man reported his car was stolen from his carport outside his condo building.

Forgery. 2300 block 196th Place. Someone reported a suspect forged checks and tried to cash them at banks.

Feb. 16

Larceny. 14500 block 15th Ave. NE. A suspect reportedly snatched a purse from a victims hand while at a grocery store.

Larceny. 15500 block Aurora Ave. N. Someone reported a coin/bill operated machine at a carwash had been broken into and the money stolen.

Feb. 17

Vehicle impounded. 4400 block 178th St. NE. A vehicle was parked on the sidewalk, blocking a driveway and facing the wrong direction. It was impounded.

Hit and run. 17100 block Bothell Way NE. The driver of a car opened his car door and a bicyclist ran into me door. He told the driver “good luck” and rode away.

Drugs. 5500 block 195th St. NE. A traffic stop resulted in an arrest for the possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Indecent exposure. 17100 block Bothell Way. A woman reported that while reading a book at a local bookstore, an unknown male exposed himself to her.

Vandalism. 1700 block 3rd Ave. NE. Someone reported their house was egged by an unknown suspect.

Forgery. 16000 block Aurora Ave. N. An employee at a used car dealership reported someone used a false ID to purchase a car.

Feb. 18

Robbery. 20300 block 15th Ave. NE. A gas station was robbed at gun point.

Larceny. 15000 block Meridian Ave. N. Someone reported their mail was stolen.

Feb. 19

Suspended license. 17400 block Ballinger Way NE. While on a traffic stop, a computer check revealed a driver to have a suspended driver’s license.

Theft. 19300 block 55th Ave. NE. An unknown suspect in a white Toyota pickup drove off without paying for $23 worth of gas.
