The following is a selection of police incidents which occurred in the past week in the cities of Lynnwood and/or Mountlake Terrace.

Jan. 16

Car prowl. 4300 block of 236th St. SW. A man reported unknown persons broke out one of his vehicle’s windows and stole almost $1,000 worth of tools.

Jan. 17

Theft. 5600 block of 232nd St. SW. An employee at a local restaurant and bar reported a man left the bar without paying for his whole bill. The man said he didn’t have enough money to pay the bill and left in his car. Police caught up with him at his Mountlake Terrace home and wrote him a citation after he still couldn’t come up with the rest of the tab.

Jan. 18

Found property. 22000 block of 20th St. SW. While doing a patrol, an officer found an abandoned bicycle. For more information, call the Mountlake Terrace Police Department at 425-670-8260.

Car prowl. 20400 block of 68th Ave. W. Someone reported unknown persons stole a CD player from a car.

Jan. 19

Car prowl. 4100 block of 236th St. SW. A man reported unknown persons broke into his vehicle by prying open a window. The thieves stole some stereo equipment.

Vehicle theft. 18100 block of Alderwood Mall Parkway. A 1988 Toyota Camry was stolen from a restaurant parking lot.

Theft. 5000 block of 194th St. SW. A woman reported unknown persons stole her right side tires off her vehicle.

Burglary. 18600 block of Highway 99. A manager of a local business reported unknown persons broke into his business and stole a lap top computer.

Jan. 20

18300 block of Hurst Road. A 1989 Toyota truck, which had been stolen, was recovered in Lynnwood.
