The following is a selection of police incidents which occurred in the past week in the cities of Lynnwood and/or Mountlake Terrace.
Jan. 12
DUI. 2100 block Hwy. 99. A 31-year-old woman was arrested for DUI.
Jan. 11
Theft. 18400 block 33rd Ave. W. Someone reported the theft of cash, Game Boy and gift card from their car.
Dumping. 18300 block Alderwood Mall Pkwy. Someone reported illegal dumping at the parking lot of a local store.
Theft. 19400 block Alderwood Mall Pkwy. Someone reported the theft of video tapes and video games from their vehicle.
Theft. 18600 block 33rd Ave. W. Someone reported the theft of a CD player, speakers and CDs from their car.
Malicious mischief. 4700 block 176th St. SW. A manager at a local store reported someone destroyed the handset to the courtesy phone outside the office.
DUI. 19600 block Poplar Way. A 39-year-old woman was arrested for DUI.
Jan. 10
Burglary. 19800 block 44th Ave. W. A burglary occured at a local business and several sewing machines were taken.
Auto theft. 18500 block Olympic View Dr. A man reported his vehicle was stolen by three young girls he was teaching to drive. When he left the vehicle to smoke a cigar, they drove off with his car.
Narcotics. 18300 block Hurst Rd. A 24-year-old man was arrested for the posession of narcotics and a stolen gun.
DUI. 20800 block 68th Ave. W. A 40-year-old man was arrested for DUI.
Assault. 20000 block 44th Ave. W. As a result of “road rage,” two people were reported to be shouting at each other. One windshield was damaged.
Warrant. 193000 block 44th Ave. W. A 38-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding Lynnwood warrant.
Theft. 6800 block 208th St. SW. A woman reported someone retreived her discarded mail from the recycling bin at the post office and ordered CDs, which were charged to her account.
Animal cruelty. 17000 block Hwy. 99. Someone reported a man was abusing his dog.
Traffic. 16000 block Hwy. 99. A 28-year-old man was arrested for driving on a suspended license.
DUI. 21600 block Hwy. 99. A 41-year-old woman was arrested for DUI.
Jan. 9
Accident. 4600 block 196th St. SW. A hit and run accident occured in a parking lot.
Narcotics. 3000 block 184th St. SW. Two 16-year-old men were arrested for possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Animal. 3200 block 177th Place SW. A dog was reported to be “running at large.”
Theft. 19800 block Scribner Lake Rd. A woman reported the window on her car was smashed and her purse was taken from under the seat.
Theft. 5700 block 196th St. SW. A woman reported her car window was broken and her purse was taken from the back seat.
Jan. 8
Robbery. 4800 block 180th St. SW. A man reported four young men approached him when he got off a bus. They sprayed him with pepper spray and punched him until he yelled for help. They stole his gloves, umbrella and pizza.
DUI. 18000 block 48th Ave. W. A 80-year-old man was arrested for DUI.

Domestic violence: According to the Lynnwood Police Department, there were eight domestic violence calls from Jan. 6 to Jan. 13.
