The following items were selected from synopses of Edmonds police reports.

April 11

Theft. 8000 block 216th Street SW. Someone stole a purse from an unlocked vehicle.

April 9

Found property. 200 block Sunset. A digital video camera was found in a parking lot. The reporting person will claim it if the owner is not located.

April 8

Theft. 100 block W. Dayton. A woman said someone took her purse from her car while it was parked at Harbor Square.

Suspicious circumstances. 24000 block Firdale. A girl said a man driving a van slowed and waved at her while she waited for a school bus, and then followed the bus up the street.

April 6

Theft. 900 block Cedar Street. A cell phone valued at $200 was taken from an unlocked vehicle. No suspects were reported.

Malicious mischief. 100 block Sunset Ave. A 33-year-old man was arrested after getting angry and punching and breaking a vehicle mirror and causing a disturbance on the street. He was booked into the Snohomish County Jail for malicious mischief and disorderly conduct.

April 4

Assist other agency. 11700 block Unoco Road. Police helped the Edmonds Fire Department rescue a woman who had apparently fallen down a steep hill.

March 20

Theft. 23900 block 74th Ave. W. A turn signal lens valued at $20 was stolen from a vehicle.
