The following items were selected from synopses of Edmonds police reports.

Aug. 26

Harrassment. 20700 block 76th Ave. W. A business employee received an obscene phone call.

Suspicious circumstances. 8000 block 212th Street SW. Two unknown males were loitering near parked vehicles.

Sex offense. 21200 block Highway 99. An unidentified male exposed himself to a female at an espresso stand.

Animal. 9000 block 240th Street SW. A citizen reported a dog mauling a cat. The cat was taken to an emergency veterinarian for treatment. The case was referred to the animal control unit.

Vehicle prowl. 9300 block 244th Street SW. An unknown person entered a vehicle, damaging a lock in the process. Nothing was taken, but damage totaled $150.

Malicious mischief. 22700 block 78th Ave. W. A vehicle was egged by unknown persons.

Aug. 25

Disturbance. 22100 block 95th Pl. W. Officers responding to a report of a fight arrested a 23-year-old man for obstructing a police officer and making a false or misleading statement.

Theft. 20900 block 76th Ave. W. A debit card was reported stolen from a purse.

Theft. 7400 block 180th Street SW. A motorcycle valued at $6,000 was stolen from the driveway of a residence.

Theft. 8100 block 240th Street SW. A six-foot garden trellis was stolen from the yard of a residence. The trellis was valued at $60.

Aug. 24

Burglary. 8000 block 238th Street SW. A vacant house was entered and the deadbolt was damaged.
