The following is a selection of police incidents which occurred in the past week in the cities of Lynnwood and/or Mountlake Terrace.
Sept. 1
Weapons violation. A man came into the Mountlake Terrace Police Department to turn in 21 guns he said belonged to a man who is a convicted felon.
Malicious mischief. 23200 block of 51st Ave. W. A man reported unknown persons fired a BB gun at his car, shattering a window and damaging the exterior of the car.
Aug. 31
Theft. 5300 block of 228th. A man reported unknown persons stole money from a locker at the Mountlake Terrace Recreation Pavilion.
Theft. 23500 block of 59th Pl. SW. A man reported someone stole some checks from his and his wife’s check book. The man suspects his son stole the checks.
Aug. 30
Bicycle theft. A boy reported unknown persons stole his unlocked bicycle from his yard.
Bicycle theft. 5400 block of 212th St. SW. A woman reported someone stole her son’s unlocked bicycle from their porch.
