The following is a selection of police incidents which occurred in the past week in the cities of Lynnwood and/or Mountlake Terrace.

Oct. 29

Threats. 22800 block Cedar Way. A man was threatened by his electrician. The dispute began after an electrical fire occurred at a building owned by the victim.

Theft. 22400 block 42nd Pl. W. A man reported that a wooden squirrel was taken from his front yard.

Oct. 30

DUI. 5200 block 224th St. SW. A man was arrested for drunk driving.

Auto Theft. 24200 block 44th Ave. W. A man reported his work vehicle was stolen. The vehicle was unlocked and was parked in his driveway.

Theft. 23600 block 48th Ave. W. A man reported someone broke into his car and stole a key chain.

Threats. 21000 44th Ave. A woman reported that someone tried to beat up her and her two friends.

Oct. 31

Eluding police. A car was stopped for “driving erratically.” After being confronted by police, the driver sped away and a police chase ensued. The suspect’s car eventually crashed into a residential house, destroying the front porch. The suspect was booked into jail.

Vehicle Recovery. 50 block 238th St. SW. A vehicle was recovered, but a long area check did not reveal the owner.

Nov. 1

Runaway. 4600 block 238th Pl. SW. A teenage boy was reported to have run away. He was last seen before trick-or-treating.

Burglary. 21500 block 52nd Ave. A burglary was reported at a church. Stolen items include two speakers, a monitor and woofer. The church doors were secured and no signs of forced entry were found.

Theft. 22800 block Lakeview Dr. A woman reported that someone entered her car by prying the driver’s door window from its frame. The suspect then stole the on-dash stereo unit.

Burglary. 6400 block 234 Pl. SW. A man reported items were stolen from his garage, including two espresso machines, two coffee grinders and a bike.

Disturbance. 22300 block 64th Ave. W. A man was assaulted by a young male armed with brass knuckles, who was standing in his front yard. The young man was taken into police custody.

Nov. 2

Theft. 6000 block 244 St. SW. A woman reported that the side window was broken out on her van while parked in a parking lot. The back door was then opened by intruders who stole several items, including a freezer, TV, clothes, DVD player and satellite system.
