The following are selected reports from Mill Creek police.

Dec. 2

Possession of stolen property/warrant arrests. 14600 block of Bothell-Everett Hwy., 7:15 a.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop and during the stop discovered the vehicle was reported stolen. Three people were arrested and two of the subjects had arrest warrants.

Thefts. 15500 block of 27th Dr., 11:30 a.m.; 15900 block of 24th Ct., 1 p.m.; 15500 block of 25th Ln., 6 p.m.’ and 2500 block of 143rd Pl., 9 p.m. Four residents reported thefts of either Christmas lights and/or decorations from their yards.

Theft. 13300 block of Bothell-Everett Hwy., 4:21 p.m. After a brief scuffle, a shoplifter trying to take a package of over-the-counter medication was taken into custody by a retail store’s security personnel.

Auto theft. 15400 block of Bothell-Everett Hwy., 4:30 p.m. A 43-year-old Snohomish man reported his red Jeep Cherokee stolen while it was parked in Mill Creek. The vehicle was later recovered in town.

Dec. 3

Thefts from auto. 1100 block of 156th Pl., 11:17 a.m., and 15500 block of Mill Creek Blvd., noon. Two residents reported that items were stolen from their parked vehicles. Items taken included clothing, CDs, a purse, cosmetics bag, blanket and leather gloves.

Warrant arrest. 1300 block of 156th St., 3:30 p.m. Police contacted a former resident, a 39-year-old man, who was seen going through dumpsters at an apartment complex. A records search showed the man had a warrant and he was arrested.

Vandalism. 3100 block of 150th Pl., 3:30 p.m. A resident reported a window at his home was broken by a thrown object.

Dec. 4

Assault. 1100 block of Dumas Rd., 3:38 a.m. A man broke a window at another man’s home and threatened him with a gun. The two men knew each other.

Animal impound. 2700 block of 143rd Pl., 8:30 a.m. A found dog was taken to the Everett Animal Shelter.

Dec. 5

Theft from auto. 1000 block of 156th Pl., 8:20 a.m. A local man reported that his girlfriend’s car was prowled and damaged. The registration certificate and proof of insurance were taken.

Vandalism. 16200 block of 33rd Ave., 9 p.m. A local man reported his Christmas decorations were vandalized.

Dec. 6

Found property. 13500 block of Bothell-Everett Hwy., 1:25 a.m. While checking a suspicious vehicle, police recovered a trash bag containing various clothing items.

Fraud. 12500 block of North Creek Dr., 4:33 p.m. A man reported that someone made $3,200 in charges on his bank account.

Dec. 7

Drugs. 1600 block of 132nd St. SE, 2:58 a.m. Police stopped a man for a suspected DUI. A search revealed several containers of suspected cocaine.

Animal complaint. 1100 block of 146th St., 5:34 p.m. While its owners were busy moving, a dog escaped from its home and ran into traffic. The dog was struck by a passing vehicle. A neighbor who was trying to help the dog was bitten.

Dec. 8

Vehicle prowls. 1100 block of 164th St. SE, 8 a.m. and 1200 block of 164th St. SE, 10:50 a.m. In two separate cases, vehicles were broken into. In one case the ignition was damaged and in another the front passenger window was damaged.

Fraud. 15300 block of Mill Creek Blvd., 3 p.m. A man reported his credit card number was illegally used.

DUI. 16700 block of Bothell-Everett Hwy., 9:55 p.m. A 59-year-old Bothell man was pulled over for a traffic violation. After an investigation he was arrested for DUI.

Domestic violence calls: Mill Creek police received two domestic violence calls from Dec. 2 to Dec. 8.
