The following is a selection of police incidents which occurred in the past week in the cities of Lynnwood and/or Mountlake Terrace.

Nov. 15

Fraud. 4600 block 196th St. SW. A business reported that persons were trying to use counterfeit $20 bills to purchase a money order.

Accident. 33rd block Alderwood Mall Blvd. A vehicle hit a boy on a bicycle while crossing in a controlled crosswalk with the walk signal. The vehicle did not stop for the red light or after hitting the bike. Minor injuries were received by the victim.

Nov. 16

DUI. 20100 block 68th Ave. W. A 25-year-old male was arrested for DUI.

Forgery, 20700 block Hwy. 99. A 21-year-old female was arrested for prescription drug forgery.

Nov. 17

Theft. 16600 block 44th Ave. W. A person reported their vehicle was broken into and the seats were removed along with the stereo.

Auto Theft. 5100 block 176th St. SW. A man reported his vehicle was stolen from the side of his apartment building.

Animal. 20600 block 60th Ave. W. An aggressive dog was contained after running through the streets chasing cars and pedestrians.

Accident. 19000 block 44th Ave. W. A two-car accident was reported.

Traffic offense. 17000 block Hwy. 99. A 35-year-old female was arrested for criminal traffic charges and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Nov. 18

Theft. 18000 block 29th Ave. W. A purse was reported stolen from a vehicle parked in front of a fitness center.

Theft. 4100 block 196th St. SW. A “dine and dash” was reported at a local restaurant.

Liquor violation. 18123 block 36th Ave. W. A 25-year-old male was arrested for unlawful possession of alcohol in public.

Accident. 19300 block 44th Ave. W. A hit and run accident was reported at a parking lot.
