The following items were selected from synopses of Edmonds police reports.

Oct. 5

Theft. 23000 block 100th Ave. W. Two girls were caught shoplifting by store security. They were turned over to their parents without charges being filed.

Malicious mischief. 18900 block Olympic View Drive. A woman told police her house had been egged. No information on suspects was reported.

Oct. 4

Malicious mischief. 900 block Pine Street. Campaign signs valued at a total of $53 were damaged. No information on suspects was reported.

Theft. 22900 block 106th Ave. W. A CD player was stolen from a vehicle.

Oct. 3

Found property. 21600 block 81st Ave. W. A woman saw three juveniles place a bicycle in the bushes. She retrieved the bike and called police.

Juvenile. 8700 block 216th Street SW. A report was received of fireworks being shot from several vehicles. The vehicles were located, the fireworks confiscated and the juveniles were taken to their parents.

Oct. 2

Malicious mischief. 600 block Walnut Street. A window on a vehicle was broken by an unknown person, causing $200 damage.

Theft. 8200 block Sienna Dr. Someone entered a vehicle and removed a CD player and a wallet.

Oct. 1

Burglary. 500 block Second Ave. N. An unknown suspect gained entry to a home via force and stole prescription drugs and other items.
