The following is a selection of police incidents which occurred in the past week in the cities of Lynnwood and/or Mountlake Terrace.

Sept. 9

Vehicle prowl. 6800 block of 168th St. SW. Someone reported unknown persons broke into their car. Nothing was stolen.

Sept. 8

Child neglect. 19200 block of 44th Ave. W. Someone was cited after a child was left unattended in a vehicle.

Malicious mischief. 20100 block of 76th Ave. W. A window was broken at a residence during an attempted burglary.

Sept. 7

Weapon. 5100 block of 196th St. SW. Someone was arrested at a local fast food restaurant after they “showed” a gun of some kind. No other information was provided.

Vehicle prowl. 20600 block of 44th Ave. W. Someone reported an $800 tool was stolen from a vehicle.

Vehicle prowl. 19100 block of Highway 99. Someone reported unknown persons broke into their vehicle and damaged the steering wheel. Nothing was stolen.

Theft. 3000 block of 184th St. SW. Someone reported a wheel was stolen off of their car while parked at the Alderwood Mall.
