Sept. 15
Malicious mischief. 23400 block Highway 99. An unknown person threw a rock through the front window of a residence, causing $350 damage.
Sept. 14
Theft. 22600 block 80th Ave. W. A computer valued at $2,000 was stolen from a repossessed vehicle.
Sept. 11
Forgery. 10500 block 242nd Pl. SW. A woman used a stolen checkbook to commit fraud in multiple locations.
Burglary. 18800 block Olympic View Drive. A man told police a window on his vehicle was smashed while it was parked in his garage, causing $150 in damage. No information on suspects was reported.
Animal. 15900 block 75th Pl. W. A resident told police a neighbor is keeping seven dogs on the property, in violation of the city ordinance limiting the number to five, and that the dogs bark excessively. The 49-year-old woman who owns the dogs was given a verbal warning.
Sept. 10
Theft. 23600 block Highway 99. A rug valued at $200 was stolen from a store by an unknown male suspect.
Sept. 9
Burglary. 9600 block SW Cherry Street. A residence was entered and a box of checks stolen. No information on suspects was reported.
Sept. 8
Ordinance violation. 800 block 10th Ave. N. A report of a door-to-door solicitor led to the arrest of two male suspects for violating the city’s business license ordinance. They were cited and released.
Suspicious circumstances. 21100 block 76th Ave. W. A report was received of a suspicious male making inappropriate remarks to a 14-year-old girl near Edmonds-Woodway High School.
Trespass. 23700 block 104th Avenue W. An abandoned school building was entered unlawfully.
Fraud. 500 block Alder Street. Someone reported that $3,352 in fraudulent charges were charged on their credit and debit accounts.
Sept. 5
Theft. 600 block Admiral Way. The window of a vehicle was smashed while it was parked at Marina Beach Park, and a purse and a jacket were stolen. No information on suspects was reported.
