Police Beat

Here are selected reports from the Shoreline and Lake Forest Park police departments:

July 9

Burglary. 222nd Street Southwest. Victim’s house was burglarized, but suspects were still inside when victim came home.

Suspicious Circumstances. 18500 block 40th Place NE. Suspect dug some sort of grave in victim’s yard and put a cross on it.

July 8

Larceny. 17200 block 15th Ave. NE. Vehicle was broken into in parking lot of restaurant, items stolen from inside.

July 7

Larceny. 16700 block Whitman Ave. Computer taken from residence where multiple people had stayed over the night before.

Larceny. 19500 block Fremont Ave. N. Suspect stole nail guns from work truck.

DUI. 700 block NE 145th St. Driver arrested for DUI, also had a suspended license.

July 6

Malicious Mischief. 18500 block 37th Ave. NE. Juveniles reportedly took down signs in neighborhood around school.

Fraud. 19000 block Forest Park Drive NE. Couple got a call saying they’d won a vacation, suspect then asked for credit card information.

Shots. 15800 block 38th Ave. NE. Bullet landed in victim’s bed, probably fired randomly into the air. Location of the firing was unknown.

Theft. 19500 block 40th Place NE. Prescription pills were taken from residence.

Larceny. 16800 block 15th Ave. NE. Large sum of money taken from closet in victim’s residence.

Larceny. 1800 block NE 185th St. Prescription pills taken from UPS delivery at front door of residence.

Fraud. 18500 block Linden Ave. N. Scam of a local Shoreline rental home using Craigslist.

DUI. North 155th Street and Aurora Avenue North. Arrest of DUI driver.

July 5

Explosives. 17200 block Greenwood Place. Tennis ball bomb found in yard by resident.

Larceny. 300 block N. 175th St. Victim returned to find his vehicle had been broken into, and the items inside had been taken.

Bombing. 17600 block Sixth Ave. N. Suspect blew up mailbox, possibly with fireworks.

Larceny. 1900 block NE 205th St. Two juvenile males stole beer from a convenience store.

July 3

DUI. Bothell Way Northeast and Ballinger Way Northeast. Respondent reported seeing male driver drinking beer.

Larceny. 15300 block Aurora Ave. N. Victim’s wallet was stolen while he was at the check-out stand in a grocery store.

Vandalism. 16000 block Dayton Ave. N. Unknown suspect(s) trespassed onto victim’s property and threw beer bottles onto driveway. This has happened once before.

Theft. 15200 block Aurora Ave. N. Truck stolen from a parking lot outside of a casino.

Larceny. 16500 block Fremont Ave. N. Walkway lamps and spare tires stolen from outside residence.

July 2

Theft. 1300 block N. 205th St. Theft from vehicle parked in store parking lot.

Substance Violation. 1800 block NW 205th St. Three teens sitting in vehicle, marijuana found inside.

Larceny. 15500 block Westminster Ave. Suspect stole steak and crab from grocery store.

Burglary. 17000 block Meridian Ave. N. Suspect entered classroom in elementary school and took a cell phone.
