The following is a selection of police incidents which occurred in the past week in the cities of Lynnwood and/or Mountlake Terrace.

Sept. 29

DUI/prostitution. 220th Street SW/52nd Ave. W. Witnesses saw a 1996 green Ford Aspire crash into a telephone pole and fence at 220th and 52nd Ave. W and called 911. The driver then drove the car into some local apartments. Police then found a woman walking barefoot with blood on her hand and she said she was the passenger in the car. When she got out to look at the car’s damage, her friend, the driver drove off and left her there. The woman told police the two had been drinking. Police soon found the driver of the car at a local convenience store. She had blood all over her from sustaining injuries in the crash and she could hardly walk or stand on her own and smelled strongly of alcohol. The driver said she had parked the car at a nearby apartment. When police searched the car they found a lot of evidence of prostitution: over 100 condoms, a lot of cash, newspaper clippings of the woman in an escort service ad, alcohol swabs and disclaimer forms for the escort service. The woman was placed into custody and taken to the hospital for her injuries.

Assault. 23800 block of 55th Ave. W. Two male roommates got into a brawl after a disagreement about who would get a larger portion of food.

Sept. 26
