The following are selected reports from Mill Creek Police.

July 15

Accident. 1200 block of 132nd St. SE, 12:43 p.m. A Snohomish man stopped his vehicle to pick up a hitchhiker. An Everett woman didn’t see him until it was too late and her vehicle struck his from the rear. No injuries were reported.

Vandalism. 14300 block of 20th Dr., 6:37 a.m. A local woman reported someone wrote on her car and house with an ink pen. Damage was estimated at $1,000.

July 16

Hit and run. 2100 block of Village Green Dr., 10:17 p.m. A 19-year-old Bothell woman reported that a silver Honda Accord struck her white Infiniti after the Honda’s driver tried to pass her. Damage was estimated at $1,000.

Theft from vehicle. 3200 block of 156th Pl., 11:45 a.m. A local man reported theft of stereo equipment from his vehicle. Loss was estimated at $800.

Found property. Police headquarters, 9 a.m. Mill Creek Community Association security turned in some mail discovered along a road. The mail had apparently been stolen from local mail boxes.

Theft from vehicle. 1300 block of 137th St., 9:15 a.m. A local woman reported that her purse, cell phone and $20 in cash were stolen from her vehicle.

July 17

Theft. 13500 block of Bothell-Everett Hwy., 3:30 p.m. A gas station reported a theft.

Theft from auto. 1100 block of Mill Creek Blvd., 9:45 a.m. A resident reported someone entered her vehicle and stole vehicle identification papers, some work files and 10 compact discs. Loss was estimated at $117.

July 18

Aggressive animal. 14600 block of Main St., 5 p.m. A resident reported being bitten by a dog.

Vandalism. 15500 block of Village Green Dr., 10:45 a.m. City employees reported graffiti on picnic tables and walls at a city park. Damage was estimated at $500.

July 20

Burglary. 15100 block of 12th Dr., 3 p.m. A local resident reported that their home was burglarized, and several video games, DVDs and a video game system were stolen.

DUI. 1700 block of 132nd St. SE., 1:07 a.m. A Lynnwood resident was stopped for a traffic violation and appeared under the influence of alcohol. The man was arrested, cited for DUI and released.

July 21

Vehicle theft. 1200 block of Mill Creek Blvd., 6:32 p.m. A Mill Creek man reported his motorcycle was stolen.

Burglary. 600 block of 164th St. SE., 9:16 a.m. A local church was burglarized, but nothing was confirmed stolen.

Check forgery. 16000 block of Bothell-Everett Hwy., 9 a.m. A female employee of a health service provider reported that a former patient forged the doctor’s name on a check and then cashed it.

Theft. 1100 block of 146th St., 8:19 p.m. A Mill Creek woman reported her bicycle was stolen from her front yard.

Accident. 13900 block of Bothell-Everett Hwy., 8:40 p.m. A Sultan resident didn’t see that a Bothell resident stopped their vehicle for traffic. The Sultan resident was cited for inattentive driving and the Bothell resident was cited for failure to initially obtain a Washington license and for having no insurance. The Sultan resident’s vehicle was towed from the scene, but no one was injured.

Domestic violence calls: Mill Creek Police received two domestic violence calls between July 15 to July 21.
