EDMONDS

Feb. 10

Malicious mischief. 21300 block 84th Ave. W. A homeowner reported that a mailbox was smashed during the night. No information on suspects was reported.

Malicious mischief. 8200 block 208th Street SW. A “No Iraq War” sign was removed from a flower bed and destroyed by an unknown person or persons.

Feb. 9

Theft. 8600 block 244th Street SW. A Nissan Sentra valued at $1,950 was stolen from the parking lot of an apartment complex. No information on suspects was reported.

Animal. 400 block Admiral Way. A Lab Staffordshire terrier mix attacked a yellow lab being walked on a leash at Marina Beach Park. The yellow lab and its 51-year-old owner incurred injuries.

Theft. 8900 block 238th Street SW. An endorsed but blank check was stolen from someone and cashed for $350.

Malicious mischief. 21100 block Highway 99. A window at a business was broken by unknown suspects. Damage was estimated at $500.

Found property. 9500 block 224th Street SW. Two 12-packs of beer were found under the reporting person’s trailer.

Suspicious circumstances. 200 block Fifth Ave. S. The entry door to a business was damaged.

Feb. 8

Malicious mischief. 21700 block 80th Ave. W. Front and rear windows in a vehicle were broken. No suspects were reported. Damage was estimated at $500.

Vehicle recovery. 22500 block Highway 99. A check on a report of a man slumped over in a vehicle resulted in recovery of a stolen vehicle and arrest of the vehicle’s occupants, a man and woman both 28, for possession of stolen property and narcotics violations. They were booked at the Snohomish County Jail.

Burglary. 300 block Third Ave. S. An unknown suspect entered an unsecured garage area and rummaged through the complainant’s property.

Feb. 5

Narcotics. 22100 block Highway 99. A 61-year-old man was cited and released for possession of drugs.
