The following are selected reports from the Edmonds Police Department:

Sept. 15

Theft. 22500 block of Highway 99. Victim said her laptop computer had been stolen after being informed by a Seattle Police Department detective that it had been recovered.

Sept. 14

Suspicious circumstances. 16100 block of N. Meadowdale Road. A man claimed that a burglary occurred at his residence. There was no physical evidence to support his claim.

Court Order Violation. 7400 block of 218th St. SW. Report of a court order violation via text message.

Theft. 100 block of Sunset Ave. Jewelry was stolen from a stall at antique market. Possible suspect descriptions.

Sept. 11

Burglary. 9900 block of 232nd St. SW. A male was arrested on drug charges and while he was being booked, two other males burglarized his residence.

Sept. 10

Burglary. 7300 block of N. Meadowdale Road. Daytime residential burglary.

Narcotics. 23700 block of Highway 99. Suspicious vehicle contacted behind the 7-11. Drug paraphernalia in plain view. Crack cocaine recovered in a search.

Animal. 8700 block of 240th St. SW. Two dogs aggressively approached a family. Both dogs were returned home without biting anyone. A dangerous dog information letter was sent and a verbal warning was given to license the dogs.

Sept. 9

Burglary. 19400 block of 88th Ave. W. Residence entered by unknown person(s).

Burglary. 7700 block of 168th Place SW. Purse stolen out of unsecured residence.

Malicious mischief. 22600 block of 96th Ave. W. A church had roofing tar smeared all over its exterior. Toilet paper was thrown into the trees.
