Police equipment stolen during dog training

The following are selected reports from the Edmonds Police Department’s police blotter.

Jan. 24

Theft. 16700 block of 66th Avenue West. Training equipment stolen during police canine training.

Vehicle recovery. 23600 block of Highway 99. Stolen vehicle recovery. Owner advised he previously knew where vehicle was located and declined to pick up vehicle or have it processed.

Burglary. 19900 block of 80th Place West. Home broken into by unknown intruders. Safe stolen.

Assault. Physical dispute between brothers results in arrest and mutual charges.

Jan. 23

Theft. 400 block of Main Street. Kinderbritches had several pairs of shoes stolen.

Jan. 22

Burglary. 9300 block of 192nd Street Southwest. Daytime burglary results in arrest of one adult male, age 18, and one juvenile male, age 17.

Auto theft. 22100 block of 96th Avenue West. Vehicle stolen from rear carport of home.

Jan. 21

Animal control. 800 block of 14th Street Southwest. Yellow lab impounded for the seventh time for running at large. Citation issued upon redemption.

Malicious mischief. 24100 block of Highway 99. Vehicle damaged by being repeatedly struck with a rock while parked at Burlington Coat Factory.

Jan. 20

Animal control. 8600 block of Main Street. Golden retriever mix dog impounded for the third time in a month. Citation issued upon redemption.
