The Central Snohomish division of T.A.P. Pool will begin its first 7 p.m. weekly sessions on Monday, June 30.
Locations involved so far include Daverthump’s, Just Left Pub, One-Eyed Jack’s, Speedway Grill and Jimmy Jack’s in Lynnwood, plus Club Broadway and Dos De Oros in Everett.
Teddy’s and Caroline’s in Shoreline, Getaway Tavern in Mountlake Terrace, and Harvey’s in Edmonds also have an option to combine their existing Sno-King division with the teams to the north.
Teams must have five players, with each team paying a weekly fee of $30 and each member paying a yearly $20 membership fee.
Each player, nationally-ranked by headquarters in Virginia, plays 1-on-1 8-ball with an opponent to try to reach a ranked win-goal to earn a point for the team. For example, a player ranked two levels above an opponent has a win-goal of two more racks than his or her opponent.
Sessions are four months long and the top team or teams will receive an expenses-paid trip to a national tournament.
