E-W Fellows dominates track and field meet

Edmonds-Woodway freshman Alec Fellows won four individual events in a three-way track and field meet against Shorewood and Lynnwood March 20 at Shoreline Stadium.

Fellows finished first in the 110-yard high hurdles, 300 hurdles, high jump and triple jump. His time of 16 minutes, 58 seconds is the best in the Western Conference South Division.

The Warriors won the meet with 70.5 points, ahead of Shorewood (63) and Lynnwood (47.5).

Tomahawks score victory in sports medicine competition

Marysville-Pilchuck defeated Stanwood at the annual Western Conference Sports Medicine competition March 25 at Mountlake Terrace High School.

About 350 students from 13 high schools, including Edmonds-Woodway, Meadowdale, Lynnwood and Mountlake Terrace, participated in the competition.

Meadowdale dances its way to a district championship

The Meadowdale Dance Team won the combined 2A, 3A, 4A District One Championship dance competition on March 8.

Team members are Jessica Blanchett, Megan Boone, captain Megan Camper, Katie Christensen, Elyse Costello, Laura Galletly, Hannah Giese, Maddy Grund, Jordyn Hanson, captain Taryn Jones, captain Jamie Martin, Jessica Mitchell, Chloe Naranjo, Ariel Pearson, Leah Todd, captain Leta Troka, and Lola Yelistratova. The Mavericks are coached by Jane Olsen.
