After compiling a 5-1 Western Conference South Division record in 2008, the Mavs entered the 3A state playoffs with high hopes. But a 14-10 first-round loss to Capital ended the season and left them hungry and determined to return to play on the artificial surface of the Tacoma Dome. University of Washington Hall of Fame inductee and 10-year veteran coach Mark Stewart looks to seniors Sam Warner, Riley Neff-Werner and Connor Hamlett to lead the team.
