The Shoreline-Lake Forest Park Arts Council’s Children’s Series 2004 continues with Thistle Theatre’s production, “Quest for Planet X,” at 10 p.m. Tuesday, March 30 at the at the Shorecrest Performing Arts Center.
From earth to moon and far reaches of the galaxy, “Quest for Planet X” takes a flight into the future with innovative puppetry, music and sets. A strange chrysalis-like growth has started to form on earth, and if the space team can’t reach Planet X for the antidote, the Earth will be doomed. Emphasizing honoring differences and team work, the silly robots, an Evil Queen and “spacy” blacklight scenes combine with music by Sue Ennis for an out-of-this world puppetry experience. The show is recommended for ages 3-12.
