Salsa band Quimbara will get listeners in the groove with their unique sound at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 18 as part of the Shoreline-LFP Arts Council’s summer concert series.
Three trombones, congos, timbals, bongos, piano, bass and singers Manuela and Julio comprise Quimbara, which specializes in classic salsa, tasty cumbias, sultry boleros and cha-chas and merengues.
The performance is part of the Shoreline-Lake Forest Arts Council’s Concerts in the Parks series. Richmond Beach Community Park is located at Richmond Beach Road and 21st Avenue NW in Shoreline.
