Red-carpet gala planned for Edmonds Center for the Arts

EDMONDS — The eighth annual Red Carpet Gala is planned Saturday evening to support the Edmonds Center for the Arts.

The event will feature fine wine, food and silent and live auctions benefiting ECA’s arts programming. It starts at 5 p.m. at the Edmonds Center for the Arts, 410 4th Ave. N in Edmonds.

It features: John Curley, auctioneer; Jim Dever, emcee; Menu by Chef Shubert Ho, Shooby Doo Catering/Bar Dojo; and live music by Geoff Harper, bassist and Tim Kennedy, pianist.

Sponsors include: Palatine Foundation, Windermere Mortgage Services, Swedish-Edmonds, Heritage Bank, Republic Services, Harbor Square Athletic Club, The Boeing Company, Fluke Corporation, Chermak Construction, Terry Vehrs-Windermere Real Estate North and Alan &Chelea Lawrence- Wells Fargo Advisors.

The Edmonds Center for the Arts is a nonprofit located in the historic original Edmonds High School building, ECA was remodeled and re-opened in October 2006 that features performing arts presentations, community partnerships and education outreach programs.
