The Richmond Little League major boys all-stars took first place at this year’s District 8 baseball tournament.
Richmond defeated Northeast twice in the championship round and won six games in six nights.
Manager Jim Donner said the entire team worked together each game to claim the title. They were truly a team and showed that “it’s not over til it’s over,” Donner said.
Team members are Jeremy Donner, Scott McConnell, Jordan Carrasco, Adam Girton, Alex Martinez, Oliver Quade, Will Benson, Robbie Rusch, Kane Thomas, Nick Brazell, Mark Greeny and Kyle Larson. The coaches are Steve Quade, Rick Rusch and Martin Codd.
