Mayor Pro Tem Rosemary Bennetts has announced her intention to seek re-election to the Mill Creek City Council.

She has served on the council since January 2006.

“I appreciate the opportunity to serve the citizens of Mill Creek,” Bennetts said in a prepared statement. “I will continue to ensure that taxpayer money is spent wisely. These are unprecedented times. We need to be prepared for the future by keeping our reserves at current levels in order to maintain the high standards for our citizens.”

Bennetts is one of the founders of the Mill Creek Festival and serves on the Festival Committee. She is also a board member of the Mill Creek Business Association.

Bennetts has lived in Mill Creek for 30 years, raising three sons. She is employed as operations manager at The Donaldson Clinic in Mill Creek, where she has worked for the past 20 years.
