The following scholarships are available to local students:
• The Professional Photographers of Washington has announced its 2006 Student Photographer of the Year award.
First place will receive a $1,000 scholarship. The application deadline is April 15 and a winner will be announced in June.

• The YMCA of Greater Seattle is currently accepting applications for college scholarships in the amount of $1,000 – $2,500 per school year. Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of leadership, participation in school, YMCA involvement, community activities, academic achievement, honors, financial need, work experience, statement of career and educational goals and recommendations. Applications are due April 1.
