Career and college fair set for Oct. 25
The second annual “What About Tomorrow?” Career and College Fair will be held from 2:30-7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25 at the Everett Events Center.
Several Jackson High School students are scheduled to attend the fair during field trips earlier that day. The event is hosted by Everett Public Schools and WorkSource Snohomish County.
In addition to the post-secondary colleges, universities, technical schools and trade and apprenticeship programs, professionals from Snohomish County’s top 10 employment sectors will be on hand to help students connect with their potential career goals.
Businesses include the city of Everett, Goodrich, Microsoft, construction and trades, the Washington Restaurant Association, Nordstrom and more.

Donate coats for local needy kids
Cozy Coats for Kids is a coat drive launched by the Steiner Family Foundation. Through Nov. 1, donors can drop off new or “like new” coats in any size, from baby to teen, at Albertsons in the Canyon Park Shopping Center and Park Ridge Community Church, 3805 Maltby Rd.
