Star Attractions at Heatherwood Middle School

Heatherwood Middle School honors students each month for positive traits in a program called Star Attractions.

In September, the trait was “purpose.” Honored students were: Aaron Roe, Andrew Ransom, Brian Hughes, Brittni Burgess, Erica Sharpe, Francesca Cook, Guo Yang, Jordan Bond, Lianne Chang, Mitchell Morrison, Payton Locknane, Riley Waite, Scott McGinnis, Tian Westland and Victoria Nishimoto.

In October the trait was “integrity.” Students honored were: Aditi Vimawala, Alberta Isaacs, Andrew Hopkins, Austin Barnard, Chandni Raj, Hannah (Hye) Cho, Hannah Bae, Harmony Nash, Indira Rayala, Jamel Jackson, Kathleen Hoon, Kieran Sanders, Molly Corbett, Naveen Janarthanan and Olivia Sullivan.

From noon to 4 p.m. Dec. 9, parents can review the textbook the district is considering purchasing for the College Algebra Review Course offered at each of the high schools. The book is “Prentice Hall Mathematics – Algebra 2 and American Diploma Project Study Guide.”

The review is at district headquarters at 4730 Colby Ave.
