Student knitters

seek sponsors

Shorecrest High School students have been knitting up a storm, making scarves and other items for Teen Hope shelter in Shoreline.

Goods made during the “knit-a-thon” will be sent to a Shorecrest teacher, Siri Hulbert, who is working in Mexico with poor children.

A representative from the Shoreline Rotary, Robin Martin, will deliver the scarves on Feb. 10, but the project will be ongoing.

People who wish to sponsor a scarf or a knitter, e-mail Martin at: robin.martin
