Next year’s calendar altered
Because of the mandatory Washington Assessment of Student Learning testing dates recently scheduled by the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction, the Shoreline Education Association and Shoreline School District have agreed to change the 2005-06 and 2006-07 calendars by moving non-student workdays in April to October.
The exact dates being moved are: April 24, 2006, to Oct. 17, 2005 and April 23, 2007, to Oct. 16, 2006.
The one-page calendars published on the Web site have revised to reflect this change. It can be viewed by visiting: http://www.shorelineschools.org/calendar/
Additionally, next year’s wall calendar with student art will reflect the revised calendar dates.
