EdCC offers pre-nursing degree
A new two-year associate’s in pre-nursing degree at Edmonds Community College transfers directly for a bachelor’s in nursing. It gets students on track for careers in nursing — one of the nation’s highest-paying, most in-demand occupations.
In 2003, Edmonds Community College added allied health care classes to respond to this shortage of trained health care workers as Patient Care Technician, EKG technicians and phlebotomy technicians, Pharmacy Technician or Clinical Laboratory Assistant certificate programs in less than a year.
Now this two-year degree will be readily accepted by nursing programs at the University of Washington, Washington State University and many other schools.
