Jackson techies seek support
Jackson High School’s Technology Student Association competed at the 2005 Washington State Conference in Bellingham recently. Eight students qualified to compete at the national conference in Chicago in June, but due to a lack of student-body and club funds, they may be unable to participate.
The students are looking to raise the estimated $8,000 necessary to attend and compete. Donations can be sent to Jackson’s ASB – TSA club, 1508 136th St. SE, Mill Creek, Wash., 98012. Questions can be addressed to Laura Abel at lauraabel@comcast.net or to the school. Visit the students’ Web site at http://tsa.devertex.com/tech_edu.php.
