Scholarships for students available
Edmonds Arts Commission scholarship applications are now available and must be completed by March 1. These scholarships will go to outstanding students in the literary and performing arts who intend to pursue post-secondary study in theater, creative writing, dance, instrumental or vocal music.
Applicants must have an Edmonds address, be at least 17 years old and be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. A total of $3,000 is available this year with no more than $2,000 being awarded to any one applicant. Call 425-771-0228 or e-mail chapin@ci.edmonds.wa.us for more information.
