Cascadia auction benefits childcare

Cascadia Community College Foundation’s auction will benefit the student child care fund. The event is 6 p.m. Nov. 16 at the Columbia Winery. Call Patrick Londino at 425-352-8248 to register.

Students collect donations

Students from the Structured Behavior Program at Jackson High School have been collecting shampoo, conditioner, soap, hand lotion, toothpaste and toothbrushes for the Everett Domestic Violence Shelter.

They also sewed 100 drawstring bags with donated fabric to hold the items.

Teachers will take the students to present the donations to the shelter thrift store in December.
