EvCC hosts nursing info session
Everett Community College will host a Nursing Careers Information Session at 9 a.m. Friday, Aug. 13 in Index 132 on campus.
If you are interested in meeting with a nursing advisor, attending the information session is mandatory. Those who attend should arrive early to sign in and get a parking permit.

Jackson senior earns scholarship
Jackson High School senior Kelli Lee recently was selected by the Mill Creek Arts Foundation to receive a $750 scholarship.
Lee has been accepted to the Savannah College of Art where she will continue her studies in art and animation.
School days are around the corner
Classes in the Everett School district will begin Sept. 8, and classes at Everett Community College are scheduled to begin Sept. 20.
Intro to computers class coming up
Everett Community College will host a free, two-hour computer information seminar 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 2 on campus.
The class is open to students and community members, and no registration is required. All skill levels are welcome and invited to come and ask questions regarding computer use, RAM, memory, storage and disk drives.
