Graduation is just around the corner

Graduation dates for the Everett School District are as follows:

• Jackson High School: 7:30 p.m. on Monday, June 12

• Everett Community College: 7 p.m. on Friday, June 6 at the Everett Civic Auditorium.

Computer classes at Everett CC

Everett Community College is offering free computer classes designed for “absolute beginners” to interested adults to learn the basics of home computing. The program will cover setup, the basics in Microsoft Word, word processing, basics of the Internet, and simple spreadsheets.

Classes are held at the Everett Station, 3201 Smith Avenue, Room 411, in downtown Everett.

Classes will be from 10 a.m. to noon June 14 and 28.
