Concert to benefit TeenHope
A concert benefiting TeenHope, a non-profit organization that provided emergency overnight shelters for teens in King County, is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 18 and the Public Facilities District (previously known as Puget Sound Christian College), located at 4114th Ave. N in Edmonds.
International recording artist, guitarist, and singer Enrique Henao will perform at the event.
Admission to the concert is $20, is tax deductible and all proceeds benefit TeenHope.

JHS annual fund-raising to begin
Jackson High School’s PTSA board members will be having several fund-raisers this year to raise money for graduating senior scholarships, parent-student PTSA programs and resources that will support their monthly Wolf Tracks newsletter.
The annual poinsettia sale and coffee sale will both begin in October. Order forms for fresh poinsettias and packages of coffee are available at www.jhsptsa.org.
Order forms for poinsettias also will be available in the October and November JHS Wolf Tracks newsletter, and forms for coffee will be available in each JHS Wolf Tracks publication.
Band Nights at Northshore YMCA
Staff at the Northshore YMCA is inviting all ninth and 12th graders to Band Nights, featuring local high school bands jamming from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. Nov. 21 in the family gym, 11811 NE 195th St in Bothell.
Cost for YMCA members is $3 and $4 for community members.
