Ugandan students perform at local schools
The public is invited to a free song and dance performance by The Children of Kajjansi, from St. Mary Kevin Orphanage in Kajjansi. They will perform at several area schools and organizations in an evening of song and dance.
The performances benefit Sister Schools, a Seattle based non-profit that connects American school children with school children in war-torn Uganda. Last fall, through the Sister Schools program, Maplewood K-12 Co-operative school in Edmonds donated school supplies, books, clothing and other needed items to children in Uganda.
While here, the Ugandan students will have the chance to meet and thank the students that supported them.
Their touring schedule in Edmonds and Mill Creek is:

• 7 p.m. May 23 at Maplewood K-8 in Edmonds
