The Snohomish County Vikings are the adult amateur football team with the deepest roots in the area, but they aren’t the only game in town.

The Seattle Stallions play their games at Shoreline Stadium. The Stallions are members of the Western Washington Football Alliance, an eight-team league.

Seattle first started playing in 2006 and won the WWFA championship in 2010. The team suspended operations in 2011 but returned to the league this year.

The Stallions (2-0) take on the Olympic Peninsula Eagles at 6 p.m., June 9 at Memorial Stadium in Port Townsend. Seattle then hosts the Tacoma Invaders at 6 p.m., June 16 at Shoreline Stadium. The Stallions defeated the Puget Sound Outlaws 41-0 in a WWFA game June 2 at Shoreline Stadium.
