Mountlake Terrace

Bothell

Northshore Senior Center (10201 East Riverside Drive, Bothell; 425-487-2441) offers the following events &activities:

• Valentine’s Dance — 7-10 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14: Dress in your finest and dance the night away to the Salon du Swing band. Come as singles or couples, enjoy a light buffet throughout the evening. Cost: $15 per person.

• Books, crafts &jewelry sale — 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14 &Saturday, Feb. 15: Second hand and handmade items for sale. Free admission.

• The birds are back! — 1:30-3:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20: Learn about the birds of spring and make hummingbird nectar to take home, or bring in a feeder for cleaning. Cost: $7 member, $10 nonmember.

• Yoga for Health &Relaxation — 9-10 a.m. Tuesdays: Enjoy yoga exercises that are physically healing, mentally clarifying and relaxing. Cost: $4 member/$6 non-member, per class; wear comfortable clothing and bring a mat or towel.

Mill Creek

Greater Mill Creek seniors (at WSU Cooperative Extension, 600 128th St. SE, McCollum Park, Everett; contact Bill Durham, 425-357-6002) offers the following events &activities:

• Washington State Capital Museum day trip — 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19: 1 1/2 hour guided tour includes Native American history. Leave from the WSU Cooperative Extension, McCollum. Cost: $20 member, $23 non-member.

• Drop-in Social — 10 a.m.-noon Tuesdays, through Feb. 25: The Safeway/Tullys Drop-in Social moves to Merrill Gardens Retirement Community refreshments and socializing. Free.

• Walking group — 10 a.m. Tuesdays &Thursdays: Set your own speed and distance.
