Dave and Ida Sheehan of Lynnwood will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Oct. 13, 2003.
The couple met in Lac Ste. Anne, Alberta, Canada, when they were introduced in church by Dave’s mother. When his family moved to Seattle in 1943, the couple continued to correspond. Dave returned to Canada to work in logging camps and the couple was married Oct. 13, 1943 in Lac Ste. Anne.
The couple eventually settled in Lynnwood in 1950 where they raised three daughters and one son.
