On Aug. 30 at approximately 4:45 a.m., Snohomish County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the Jaw Droppin’ Java stand, in the 20600 block of the Bothell Everett Highway in Bothell, on a report of a robbery that had just occurred.
Upon arrival, deputies were told a male subject had entered the stand by climbing through a window. The suspect demanded money from the employee, who was instructed to lie on the ground.
The suspect was seen leaving the area southbound on the Bothell-Everett Hwy in a dark-colored, Blazer-type vehicle with tinted windows. The suspect vehicle had tan coloring on the lower portion.
No one was injured during the robbery. The suspect displayed no weapon, nor did he imply he was armed during the robbery.
The suspect is described as a white male adult, about 6 feet tall, thin build, clean-shaven, with blond hair in a crew cut. He was last seen wearing a dark blue T-shirt with an unknown design on the chest, navy blue nylon sports pants and tennis shoes.
This case is under investigation by the sheriff’s office Major Crimes Unit. Anyone with information relating to the identity and/or location of the robbery suspect is asked to contact the Sheriff’s tip line at 425-388-3845 or call 911.
