A strike by Shoreline teachers has been averted.
Shoreline teachers voted 95 percent in favor of a contract Thursday, Aug. 27.
The Shoreline School District and the Shoreline Education Association (SEA) reached the tentative agreement Tuesday, Aug. 25 on a two-year contract through Aug. 31, 2011.
