With a week to go in the regular season, Shorewood remains atop the Wesco 4A South Division boys swim standings.
Shorewood’s 200-yard freestyle relay team of Garret Gentling, Chris MacGeorge, Matt Kim and Steve McCall posted a state qualifying time of 1:33.57 in a 111-72 win over Meadowdale Jan. 15.

The Shorecrest wrestling team defeated Lynnwood 43-35 last week for its first Western Conference 4A South Division dual meet victory.
Shorecrest’s Dan Cliney (119 pounds), Chris Hammerstrom (160) and David Rieben (171) all recorded pins.
Ryan Pasic (112) scored an 11-0 major decision and Brian Carlton (140) pulled out an 11-7 decision. The Scots (1-6 league, 1-8 overall) won three matches by forfeit.
“Overall, the team pulled together and wrestled hard,” Scots coach Marcus Requa said.
