GOLF CLASSIC: The Edmonds Community College Foundation 19th annual Golf Classic is scheduled for Sept. 11 at the Everett Golf and Country Club. Proceeds go to student scholarships, program grants and resources at Edmonds Community College. The format is scramble with registration at 12:30 p.m., a putting contest at 1 p.m. and a shotgun start at 2 p.m. The awards banquet is at 7 p.m. Fee is $175 per golfer with $40 for additional banquet guests.
