BASKETBALL LEAGUES: The City of Edmonds is hosting 5-on-5 basketball leagues starting Sept. 12. A 3-on-3 basketball league starts Sept. 27. Information: Todd, 425-771-0229.

PEE WEE SOCCER: The Edmonds Boys and Girls Club is offering an 8-week pee wee soccer program for children 3 to 5-years-old. The first half will be a clinic with the last half league play. The season begins Sept. 16 and ends Nov. 4. Sessions will be 1 1/2 hours on Saturday mornings. Information: Jim Garcia, 425-774-0630.

TEENHOPE GOLF TOURNAMENT: TeenHope, a teen shelter is Shoreline, will hold its first annual golf tournament Sept. 11 at Mill Creek Country Club. Shotgun start at noon. Fee is $175 per player which includes green fees, cart, bucket of range balls, “goody bag,” no-host bar, prizes and banquet dinner. A silent auction and dinner begins at 5 p.m. Information: 206-546-1010.

BASEBALL TRYOUTS: The Washington Wave 18-and-under and 15-and-under select baseball teams will hold tryouts Aug. 26 and Sept. 9 at Edmonds-Woodway High School. The 15U tryouts are from 1-3 p.m. and the 18U tryouts are from 3-5 p.m. Information: call Scott at 425-422-1769.
