WOLFPACK BASKETBALL: The Mill Creek Wolfpack girls basketball program is looking for players in grades 4-8, who live in the Jackson High School attendance area. Tryouts will be at Gateway Middle School on the following dates: fourth grade — 5-7 p.m. June 9, June 12; fifth grade — 7-9 p.m. June 9, June 12. The club also is looking for coaches. FOOTBALL CAMP: The Mill Creek Parks and Recreation Department hosts the Hawks football camp June 12-16. The non-contact camp stresses basic fundamentals as well as conditioning. The instructor is Ed Lundberg, former University of Puget Sound football player and a longtime coach in the Everett School District. The camp will be from 3-4:30 p.m. daily at the Mill Creek Sports Park artificial turf field. Fees are $65 for residents and $75 for non-residents. Information: 425-745-1891.

TIMBERWOLF SUMMER BASKETBALL CAMP: The Timberwolves Summer Basketball Camp for boys entering grades 4-8 in the fall of 2006 will be from 9 a.m.-11:30 a.m., July 10-14 at Jackson High School. Jackson boys head coach Steve Johnson will conduct the camp, along with assistance from other coaches and players from the high school varsity team. Activities include individual instruction, fundamentals, drills, contests and competitions. Fee is $85 for Mill Creek residents, or $98 for non-residents. EDCC VOLLEYBALL CAMPS: Edmonds Community College hosts three volleyball camps this summer. Dates are: July 24-27, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., basic to advanced skills for ages 8-14; July 31-Aug. 3, 9 a.m.-4 pm., basic to advanced skills for ages 8-18; Aug. 14-17, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., pre-high school tryouts camp for ages 14-18. WARRIOR BASEBALL CAMP: The Warrior Youth Baseball camp will be July 10-13 at Edmonds-Woodway High School. The camp meets daily from 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m. and is conducted by Edmonds-Woodway coaches and players. Fee is $100 and walkups are welcome. MEADOWDALE HOOPS CAMP: The 10th annual Meadowdale High School Youth Basketball Camp will be July 10-13 at Meadowdale High School. Session 1 — grades K-4 (8 a.m.-noon); session 2 — boys grades 5-9 (12:30-4:30 p.m.); session 3 — girls grade 5-9 (4:30-8:30 p.m.). Fee is $70 if paid by July 3 or $80 after July 3. STATE CHAMPIONS WRESTLING CAMP: The Shoreline School District will host a wrestling camp from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. July 24-28 at Shorecrest High School, featuring Martin Mitchell, a four-time state champion wrestler. SUMMER TENNIS SKILLS AND DRILLS: A tennis skills and drills camp will be held from noon to 2 p.m. June 26, 28; July 5,7, 10, 12, 17, 19, 24, 26 and 31; Aug. 1, 2, 4 at the Shorewood High School tennis courts. Cost is $12 per lesson, $168 for all 14 lessons. Fridays are make-up days in case of rain. Lessons are for middle school and high school students of all skill levels. SOCCER REFEREE CLINIC: The Sno-King Youth Club is seeking soccer referee clinic participants ages 14-and-up for a grade eight state entry level referee clinic.
