ALDERWOOD HOOPS: Alderwood Hoops Club will be conducting player development/skills sessions for boys and girls from 3-7 p.m. Sundays at Lynnwood High School beginning in September. Sessions will focus on fundamentals and other aspects of the game to enhance the development of young players. Proceeds support the Edmonds School District student-athlete scholarship program. HI! 5 RUN: The Lynnwood Hi! 5 Community Run is set for Aug. 22. The event features a 10K certified run, 5K run, 3K walk and kids dash. No registration is required for the kids dash, which starts at 8:45 a.m. The 10K and 5K runs start at 9 a.m. and are followed by the 3K walk at 9:15.
